Listen to the executive summary
Claims contains some of the richest and most proprietary information within an insurer. Every claim provides insight into how losses develop, which interventions affect outcomes and what ultimately drives cost. Historically, much of that intelligence has been difficult to access and use consistently. AI has the potential to change that.
Moving beyond claims automation
The opportunity for AI goes beyond automating existing processes. It can help insurers unlock the intelligence held within claims and use it to support better decision-making across the business.
The Future of AI in Claims Report 2026 explores why claims intelligence, not simply claims automation, could become an important source of competitive advantage.
The evolving role of claims professionals
As AI becomes more embedded in claims, the role of people will evolve too. The report considers what this future target state could look like and how insurers can combine human expertise with new AI capabilities.
Five moves for claims leaders
The report sets out five moves for claims leaders, providing a practical framework for thinking about where AI can create value and how insurers can start building towards the future of claims.
